In Movie Theaters This Weekend

The Lego Movie 2: The 2nd Part  Although it’s not as good as the first film, it’s still a fun adventure.  The humor is catered to both young and older audiences so everyone will enjoy a nice laugh throughout the film.

What Men Want  The story of a female sports agent (Henson) who has been constantly boxed out by her male colleagues. When she gains the power to hear mens’ thought, she is able to shift the paradigm to her advantage as she races to sign the NBA’s next superstar.

Cold Pursuit  Nels (Liam Neeson) is a family man whose quiet life with his wife (Laura Dern) is upended following the mysterious death of their son. Nels’ search for justice turns into a vengeful hunt for Viking (Tom Bateman), a drug lord he believes is connected to the death. As one by one of Viking’s associates “disappear,” Nels goes from upstanding citizen to ice-cold vigilante, letting nothing — and no one — get in his way.

The Prodigy  Sarah’s (Taylor Schilling) young son Miles’ (Jackson Robert Scott) disturbing behavior signals that an evil force has overtaken him. Fearing for her family’s safety, Sarah must grapple with her maternal instinct to protect Miles in favor of investigating what is causing his dark turn.

Arctic  An interesting tale of survival.  Mads Mikkelsen, is a man stranded in the Arctic after a plane crash.  After being stranded there for some time, a helicopter also crashes and he save’s the life of one of the pilots.  He then must decide whether to remain safely where he is or embark on a deadly trek through the unknown area with the hope of making out alive.  This film is playing, exclusively, this weekend at the Harkins Camelview at Fashion Square Mall in Scottsdale.
