Your Quick & Simple Review: “Ant-Man And The Wasp”

While the rest of the Avengers are dealing with the events in Wakanda, Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) is dealing with the consequences of his choices. But when a very real “dream” compels him to reach out to Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), he once again must dons the Ant-Man suit and fight alongside the Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) against a powerful new enemy.

Being the first film right after The Avengers would be a big task for any hero.  Thankfully, Marvels Ant-Man,  was a nice comedic break from the dramatics of Infinity War.  Granted it was slow to start off, but if you have just enough patience, the waiting will pay off.  There is plenty of fun and funny moments, just like the first film, and very exciting action sequences through the streets of San Francisco.

Although, as a fan of the MCU films, I was wondering if there would be any references to Infinity War, I was pleased that this one remained it’s own movie.  But, if you’re like me and have been doing some reading about the rumors of the next Avengers film, you should be able to pick up on some references that confirm a few things … That in itself is pretty exciting.

In a weekend where there isn’t too much coming out, and other big films are quickly running out of steam, Ant-Man And The Wasp is A Must See Movie that will be a fun way to spend a couple of hours.  And make sure stick around for the two secret scenes.
